Answers to common questions about billing, accounts, using PE Pathway and your school’s data. If you can’t find what you need, email us and a real person will reply.
If your school pays by card, your PE lead can manage everything from Manage Billing on the School Profile tab in PE Pathway. It opens Stripe’s secure billing page, where you can:
Only the PE lead can see Manage Billing. If someone else in school, such as your business manager, needs an invoice, your PE lead can download it there, or you can email us.
Annual plans can be paid by invoice. We send the invoice to your school business manager or finance office, payable within 30 days of the invoice date, and your year starts from the invoice date. Monthly plans are paid by card. To pay by invoice, email hello@pepathway.co.uk with the name and email address invoices should go to.
Email us and we’ll move you to the annual price for the same plan size.
Nothing changes straight away. Your school keeps full access, Stripe emails a secure link to update the card and tries the payment again over the following weeks. You can also update the card through Manage Billing. Access is only paused if every retry fails, and it’s restored automatically once the payment goes through.
Our prices exclude VAT. VAT is added at the standard UK rate and shown on every invoice.
Your PE lead can cancel a card subscription through Manage Billing, or anyone at the school can email us. Monthly plans run to the end of the month you’ve paid for; annual plans run to the end of the year you’ve paid for. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
Use the forgotten password link on the PE Pathway login screen and we’ll email you a link to set a new one. If it doesn’t arrive, check your junk folder, then email us.
Your PE lead invites teachers from the Teachers tab. The teacher gets an email from hello@pepathway.co.uk to set up their account. The link lasts 24 hours and works once. If it has expired, use the forgotten password link on the login screen instead. If the email doesn’t arrive, check your junk folder.
Your PE lead can invite a new or covering teacher from the Teachers tab. The class, marks and history stay with the year group, so nothing is lost. Every plan includes one spare licence for cover.
Deactivated accounts can’t be switched back on from inside the app. Your PE lead should email us and we’ll sort it.
Each teacher uploads their own class list. Use a spreadsheet saved as a CSV file with one column, headed full_name, and one pupil’s full name on each row (up to 36 pupils). Other headings, such as “Full name”, won’t be recognised. In Excel, choose File, Save As, then CSV.
Mark what each child showed you in the session: Working Towards, Expected or Greater Depth. If a child was absent or didn’t take part, mark them Not Completed. You can change marks until you press Complete Session, which locks them with the date and time, like a class register. If you spot a mistake after that, email us and we’ll sort it.
Tap the ? button for help and troubleshooting, or use Get Help to report a bug or suggest an idea. It comes straight to the PE Pathway team.
PE Pathway works in the web browser, with no app to download. It works best on an iPad or iPhone (iOS 16 or later) or an up-to-date laptop browser. On an iPad, you can save it to your home screen: in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Each teacher has their own login for their own class. If you also teach another class’s PE and have access to their account, open it in a different browser or on a different device, for example Safari for your class and Chrome for the other. Don’t use two tabs in the same browser: they share one login, so marks could be saved to the wrong class.
How we look after your data is set out in our Data Processing Agreement and Privacy Policy.
