What PE Pathway does

Everything a teacher needs.
Nothing they don't.

Built by PE coaches who deliver sessions in primary schools every week. Designed for teachers who weren't trained as sports specialists.

Open ready-to-deliver sessions
Session setup, equipment list, grid dimensions, diagrams and the session concept are all there before the lesson starts. Tap a sport, step outside.
Deliver the right level
Every session has three levels — Working Towards, Expected and Greater Depth. Switch between them instantly so the lesson matches your class.
Assess progress quickly
Mark every pupil before you leave the hall. Tap a grade, hit complete. Assessment done in around 2 minutes before the next lesson starts.
Pupil report comments generated for you
Once a block is complete, PE Pathway uses your assessment data to create individual PE report comments. Review, edit, copy and paste. Done.
Track whole-school PE
PE leads can see delivery, assessment and teacher confidence across every year group and every sport — all in one place.
PE Stats dashboard
Track curriculum coverage, pupil progress, teacher confidence and whole-school PE delivery in one place — giving PE leads a clear picture of impact across the year.
Includes a PE Impact Certificate to evidence structured delivery and assessment across the school.

Start where your class is —
not where the curriculum says they should be.

Three levels in every session. Switch between them instantly. No planning required.

☀️
Working Towards
Core movement skills, simple concepts, maximum participation. The right starting point for classes new to a sport or needing more support.
🌳
Expected
Structured technique and skill practice. Progressive vocabulary, phase-by-phase delivery with progressions and regressions built in.
🌊
Greater Depth
Complex skill application, tactical understanding and independent problem solving. Designed to challenge and extend the most able pupils.

Ben has made excellent progress throughout this Basketball block. He consistently demonstrated greater depth in overload and shooting scenarios, showing strong decision-making and the ability to create space effectively. Common questions

Everything you need to know before getting started.

Getting started
No. PE Pathway is designed specifically for non-specialist class teachers. Every session includes full setup instructions, equipment lists, drill progressions and coaching cues — everything a teacher needs to walk out and deliver a confident PE lesson without any prior PE knowledge or training.
Once your school is set up, teachers can log in, open a session and be ready to deliver in minutes. There's no planning required. The session structure, learning objectives and differentiation are all built in.
Yes — PE Pathway is optimised for iPad and tablet use. Teachers can open it in the browser before a lesson, follow the session on screen and mark their class before they leave the hall. No app download required.
The platform
PE Pathway currently covers Football, Basketball, Tag Rugby, Tennis, Unihoc, Gymnastics, Athletics and Cricket — eight sports across the primary PE curriculum. Each sport includes six structured sessions at three ability levels.
Every session is available at Working Towards, Expected and Greater Depth. Teachers can switch between levels freely during a lesson — the setup stays the same, only the challenge changes. Levels are not fixed to year groups; teachers choose the level that fits their class.
Yes. At the end of each session, teachers mark every pupil with a single tap — Working Towards, Expected, Greater Depth or Not Completed. A full class takes under two minutes. Those marks feed directly into end-of-block reports and annual PE narratives.
Yes — at two levels. Once a six-session block is complete, PE Pathway generates an individual report narrative for every pupil based on their marks across that block. At the end of the year, a full annual PE report is generated for each child by analysing their marks across all sports and sessions delivered throughout the year. Both are written uniquely for each pupil using AI. Teachers simply review and copy across to their existing reporting system with a single click — no manual writing required.
For PE leads and headteachers
PE Pathway gives PE leads a real-time dashboard showing delivery progress, assessment grades and session completion across every year group. At the end of the year, an Impact Certificate is generated showing whole-school PE delivery, total sessions completed and pupil assessment data — ready to present to Ofsted or governors.
No — PE Pathway is a separate platform. PE Passport and Your PE are excellent tools for PE leads to manage and evidence PE. PE Pathway solves a different problem: it helps class teachers actually deliver PE sessions confidently. The two can sit alongside each other.
PE Pathway is sold via a personal demo rather than a self-serve free trial. Get in touch and we'll walk you through the platform in full — you'll see exactly what your teachers and PE lead would experience before making any decision.
Pricing and billing
Pricing is based on school size. A one-form entry school starts from £55 per month (or £549 per year). Two-form entry is £95/month or £949/year. Three-form entry is £135/month or £1,349/year. Multi-academy trusts — contact us for a bespoke quote.
Yes — annual billing is available at a discounted rate compared to monthly. Payment is taken securely via Stripe and an invoice is sent automatically to your school email address.
Monthly subscribers can cancel at any time with no penalty. Annual subscribers retain access for the full year they have paid for. On cancellation, your school's data remains accessible for 30 days before being permanently deleted.
Your school's data — including pupil names, marks and reports — remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation so you can export anything you need. After 30 days it is permanently and irreversibly deleted. PE Pathway never sells or transfers school data.
